Gábor Soós graduated at the Gergely Czuczor Benedictine High School. He started playing the pipe organ at László Hoffman and Csilla Alföldy-Boruss. While attending the Liszt Academy of Music his teachers were Gábor Lehotka, István Ruppert and János Pálúr. At the Amsterdam University of the Arts he studied at Pfor. Pieter van Dijk. He won first prize in the Govert van Wijn Organ contest, and third prize in the 7th International Schnitger Organ Contest. He is the organist of the St. Imre Parish Church and the organ teacher of the Theological College and the Diocesan School for Choristers in Győr. He gives concerts frequently.
